What should be done after checkin your new home in Chengdu?
Learning how to pay bills of utilities is important as well.
Please go to the local police station (where the community you live is managed by) to do registration within 24 hours after finishing your vocation and back to Chengdu!
Once leave China or get a chop or any update on your passport, you need to go to the police station.
Please remember to pay utilities in time to avoid the power cut-off and overdue payment,
especially the electricity!
Because if there’s no balance on the electricity account, the power is cut-off.
For the utilities’ invoice, I could help to go to the gas/electricity company with you at the first time and show you how to get it.
If utilities are paid online, the invoice can only be issued in 5 days at the company. The electricity invoice is electronic invoice and can be issued again but will only be issued according to the electric quantity you used. The gas invoice can not be issued again so keep it good.
Please get some food prepared at home before the Chinese Lunar New Year.
Because most of the shops, restaurants will be closed during the festival (from 4th February,2019 to 10th February,2019).
Please note the delivery companies usually stop to delivery any goods earlier before the Chinese Lunar New Year.
So if you’d like to buy something online, buy it eariler.
